the shame cycle would break and the people would want to feel good again

if the medium is the message then the medium is fight

news becomes story

worthiness requires overcoming

and being whole is boring

the fight makes meaningless meaningful

the fight glories in the warmth of group identity

the fight creates an outside and an inside

the fight indulges in the worst and the best of humanity

but the fight steals the peace

its takes two sides and makes peace impossible

it keeps power where it shouldn’t be

it steals the focus and steals from the good

it puts us back in the rat infested trenches of the 1910s

the gilded age of the 1920s

what falls in 29?

there is a time to fight

but the fight, should not be primary, it should not be everything, it should not be the base

the fight is not good in itself

it should not be honored in itself

it is human and foolhardy, it is helpful and deceitful, it gives and it takes, it heals and divides, it achieves and it limits

but the fight, in of of itself, shouldn’t be what wins
